Help Young Moms and Others in Need Experience the Gift of Retreat
Young moms and others with limited resources need your help! This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to join Walnut Grove in opening the door of retreat to those who long for peace, prayer, and renewal but cannot afford to attend.
Because retreat participants are accepted without regard to their ability to pay, Walnut Grove strives to offer scholarship assistance to those most in need. Each gift you make helps provide a place of rest, reflection, and community for young mothers and others seeking spiritual renewal.

A retreat weekend can be life-changing. For young moms juggling work, family, and faith, and for anyone facing financial strain, time away to rest and reconnect with God can restore both strength and joy.

How Your Gift Helps
Every contribution goes directly to our Scholarship Fund for Retreats, supporting mothers in need.

$50 — Helps cover retreat materials for one mom

$150 — Covers one-third of a full retreat scholarship

$300 — Provides two-thirds of a full scholarship

$450 — Covers one full retreat for a mom in need (lodging, meals and materials)

$1,000 — Establishes a mini-fund to sponsor multiple retreatants
Our Goal: Raise $9,000 this Giving Tuesday to provide 20 full retreat scholarships for mothers seeking renewal and peace.
Other Ways to Help
We must raise this scholarship money however we can and your creativity can make a difference! If you’d like to host a scholarship fundraiser of any kind (bake sale, craft fair, social event, etc.), please contact us at info@walnutgrovecenter.org We will gladly help advertise your event on our website.
You can also support a friend or anonymous attendee by making a donation directly to Walnut Grove and earmarking it “SCHOLARSHIP” in the memo area of your check.
